Roll to the Beat is an animated short film about a beetle and a rollie pollie who form an unlikely friendship through music. The project is also helping Silverwater Studios develop and refine its animation pipeline and production process in preparation for future films.

Silverwater Studios is currently developing its first animated feature film. While details of the project remain under wraps, development is underway as we establish the artistic and technical foundation for the production.
As part of that process, we are producing an original animated short film. The short serves as a practical production exercise for our team, allowing us to refine our animation pipeline, visual techniques, workflows, and collaborative process before moving into full production on the feature.
The short film is its own independent story, but the experience gained from creating it will directly support the studio’s larger ambitions in feature animation.
